Therapy sessions are available via home or office visits, over the phone, or via secure, online video sessions.
Unlike large group practices, my private office setting is ideal for clients who want to ensure their privacy. My office is structurally designed to offer individual anonymity, and has a serene and calming environment.
I also conduct therapy over the phone and via online video conference for clients who feel more comfortable with these mediums, as well as make home visits for an additional fee.
Most clients prefer to come to my private office setting, which is conveniently accessible from HWY 9 and HWY 17 in Los Gatos, California.

Fees & Payments:
My standard fee for a 50-minute counseling session is $225.
All fees are due at the time of each session and I accept cash, checks, all major credit cards, and PayPal.
While I can provide you a comprehensive insurance statement which you may forward to your insurance company for out-of-network provider reimbursement, I have a solely fee-for-service based practice and do not accept third-party payments.
I also maintain a 48-hour cancellation policy to ensure that I can best service my clients.

Insurance:
I recommend that you contact your insurance provider prior to our initial meeting to better understand your insurance benefits and the reimbursement policy for an “out-of-network” provider, as I have chosen not to contract directly with insurance panels for several important reasons:
- When using insurance to pay for mental health services, a mental disorder diagnosis is often required before treatment is deemed medically necessary. Such diagnoses can remain on a client’s record permanently and may have long-standing consequences later in life.
- When using insurance, it’s often necessary for your insurance company to deem you “sick enough” for coverage to be provided. In other words, in order to start or continue counseling and psychotherapy each session must be clinically justified. Unfortunately, countless life struggles and transitions don’t meet most insurance providers’ criteria for a “justifiable” diagnosis.
- And, perhaps most importantly, when using insurance to pay for health services, your privacy and confidentiality are at risk. Third-party members become involved in the process of reviewing your records. Because the relationships I build with my clients and the work we do together are based on the highest standards of trust, I find my work and those relationships compromised by the lack of confidentiality offered by most insurance plans.
